koleq9094.com - webpage for a dysfunctional batch
Class of 94 - entered MCKK in 1990 and left in 1994 (daahh!), the epitome of under achievers who are not bothered with the under achieving life

Sukanterer 2008 and Yengko: Montage

And nothing beats pictures and videos to put through what words could not describe (a perfect excuse for not writing the next installations in the series!).

Thank you to Awie for a marvelous work!

Many people have been asking about Noni - who is Noni, why Noni.

Noni was not our sweetheart, but her family formed one part of our memories that constantly reminds us of the casualness of the yesterdays.

Noni and her family ran a run down cafeteria (that thing sitting in between the old surau and the Fives Court) which has since been demolished a few years ago (I think they mistakenly took the cafeteria for a bangsal buang sampah).

Kapet (as we called it) was our life line, without which there wouldn't have been maggi goreng, roti telur, keropok, daging burger, sirap 20 sen, nasi inflasi etc.

Kapet was also the black market for ciggarettes, pornographic mags, warehouse to keep illegal goods (e.g. jeans) for a favour etc.

You can try to spot Mak Cik Kapet from the banner. Noni did look like her mother, but a lot fiercer and 20 kg heavier.

California, Here I Go
The talk is reminiscent of when geologists first discovered that the state was slowly sinking into the Pacific Ocean: We better get out of here.

Israel is a Threat to the Palestinians, Not the Other Way Around
United Nations (UN) resolution 242 demands that Israel return lands captured in 1967 Wars, but Israel refuses to obey international law.

New Basketball Court for MCKK
It has been quite a while since koleq has won the inter-residential schools (PPM Cup) basketball tournament. For the record, we won the championship in 1977 and subsequently became champions for 8 times until the last time in 1993.

Can't be arsed?
We desperately try to rope in as many Malaysian Muslims as possible to be there, but I have to swallow another bitter pill of reality when I find out that most of them shy away from this kind of thing. All sorts of excuses given, ranging from the most ridiculous e.g. concerns over security, to the expected e.g. private obligation.

Festive mood
It's been months since this homepage got a facelift and it's getting a bit trite to keep on mentioning how work and other 'stuffs' in life have come in between 'us'.
